I do not know if the model of the knowledge worker 2.0 will prevail, but nobody can doubt anymore that it is essential for companies to be connected. During three days, the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona has exposed the latest resources for global connectivity.
I rather wonder, what chance of survival do companies have that continue with their current business model. In general, they do not even have a plan on how to handle the talent of their professionals. They keep treating them as proletarians, valueing only the labor force (the hours worked). What they do not see is that they have the knowledge to face the challenges to come.
